Edge of life and death

Separation anxiety.
Praying to die.
Not good.

Especially when we are talking about an 11-year-old boy.
He was struck by a car. He suffered a broken hand, leg and ankle. He has endured five surgical procedures.
The pain is unbearable.
Think what it is like for an adult.
Multiply that by infinity for a preteen and it reasonable for a child to suffer separation anxiety and suicidal thoughts to ease his pain.
His mother has been his rock. He does not like her to leave his side.
She doesn't want to leave his side.
All she knows is that God and faith are guiding her family through this terrible chapter.
One thing the mother asks for. She wants the driver of the car that hit her son to turn himself in to police.
That is all
She does not seek vengeance.
Only justice.
It's the least a person can do when their actions put a child on the edge of life and death.
