A heartbreaking interview

Yesterday I interviewed a woman whose nephew was murdered in Texas.

As a reporter, it is the toughest cold call.

The survivor

I must remember to not let the guilt trip take me down. I am a survivor. Life goes on and the memories will carry me until we meet again.

Figuring it out

Some where, some way I will figure it all out. I must remember to relax and let it sink in.

In His time

Things happening in God's time are tough to grasp.

A person who brought you into the world is dying. He is wasting away ... he calls on the Lord. He tells God he is ready to come home. But God has not granted his request.

This is where the word "why" pops up.

Why the wait? Why all the pain and suffering? Why? Please, tell me why.

There is an answer. It will come in His time.

Faith, hope and love, and the greatest is love.

Love my father and Our Father.

Will I let it grow my faith deeper? Why not?

It is His time. Not mine.

The size of your world

Your big world has been drastically reduced.

Nearing the end

I'd like my Dad to get better.

It's not working out that way.

He is fighting but it is taking its toll.

Is it time to say it's okay to go home?

Life observations: Aug. 8, 2013

The pain is unbearable. You were taken away so quickly. But your suffering was too much. It is better that you were taken away. There is no more pain. We miss you but the memories will keep you alive until we meet again.
