Chances

Taking a chance looks a lot like James Earl Jones' character in "Field of Dreams".

I must remember ...

When talking about the weather, and saying what a pain it is, I must remember:
those battling for their lives, 
those people mourning loses of loved ones,
those that have been battered,
those looking for help,
those without a place to stay,
those battling addictions,
those battling mental disease,
those in war torn places,
those being opressed,
those needing nourishment,
those being used as slave or sex labor,
those who have so many other things they battle.

Figure it out

I am trying to figure out if it is a helpful nudge, or is it a younger buck showing you how it is done?
It has been a year of challenges and changes.
I never knew I could open new avenues.
I am amazed and am humble.
It's just that someone new comes in and does a few things that appear to show the  shortcomings of the old mutt.
I could be over thinking.
I just have a feeling. It is queasy.

A wonderful reunion

Christmas week is here.
Snow or not, we should rejoice.
Family and friends, near and dear, we celebrate this time.
We celebrate, too, for those no longer with us.
Our hearts glow with love for all.
We will be together.
And when we reunite, oh what a wonderful day it will be.
