Tough weekend, tough visit

This is a tough weekend.

I traveled home to the folks' house.

About doctors ...

The thing I like about doctors is they can fix you.

The thing I don't like about doctors ... they think they can fix you when you are past being fixed.

I  have seen it from both sides.

I hear the weakness in his voice over the phone, but there is also a slight chuckle. He enjoys being asked if he is breaking out of the joint.
