Those things delivered to my parent's house included: hospital bed, wheel chair and portable commode. Later an ambulance brought Dad home.
Hospice has joined Dad's final journey.
For Mom, this is a huge relief. The journey has been grueling and long.
For Dad, it allows him to spend his days in the house he made a home with Mom for more than 54 years.
As for the son, he feels some weight of guilt shifted off his shoulders.
We have two worlds in our life at this time ,,, the regular one and the one that deals with the dying of a loved one.
So many more lessons learned and so many yet to come.
