With Easter a few days away, there is something I am trying to understand.
My father is ill. He is grateful for the prayers he receives, everyone of them.
This past weekend, Dad again told me to thank all those praying for him.
I need all the stinkin' prayers I can get," he said in a quiet voice.
Do you think God frowns on calling them "stinkin'" prayers? Dad didn't use it in a mean or hurtful way.
But I have been kicking it around for a few days.
