The other day I took out the trash.
A normal thing for a homeowner.
However, this occurred at work.
Budget cuts through the years have knocked out maintenance staff.
We are relied on to police ourselves.
Vacuum the carpet. Dump the trash. Straighten up the place.
I guess you can tell a lot about people when it comes to this.
A handful will step up and do the chores.
Does it mean we have co-workers who feel they are above doing such acts?
I'm not sure.
I do know we all have to pitch in.
Some do it for the good of the team. Others don't because they might be doing the job of three people.
Then there are those who are too good to do just simple tasks.
Maybe they should be put out with the trash.
