When the nightmare is really a test

It was the dream come true for the young woman.
She attended the university that would help build on her solid foundation in faith.

There were hurdles.
There were tests, not of the classroom sorts.
These were trying times.
The parent felt for her.
He was upset and angry at times with some of those hurdles. He felt they were, as her grandfather said to me, using their head as a hat rack.
She preserved.
The parent carried these feelings of protecting the child with in to commencement weekend.
The one he uttered to his daughter one time, For a dream university, it has had its share of nightmares.
Hours after he said goodbye to the new graduate, the saying, In God's time" was revealed to me.
It came in the words of the university present.
This was a school that helped the young men and women build, strengthen, nurture and prepare them for having the tools to go forward for the The Call.
What had been mistaken as nightmares were in fact tests. Tests that Jesus himself encountered each day.
Yes.
The university and the child were meant to be.
So the parent came to the universality he had issues with and came away with a lesson ... others are there for the child you helped bring into the world.
It is part of the lifetime learning.
