It is hard to fathom the depth of destruction that takes place when you hurt people you love.
Even if feeling like being marooned on a deserted island, it is not the hell that you have put the others through.
Cutting yourself and putting salt in the wound does not come close to the sting loved ones feel.
Asking for forgiveness is a first step, but the rebuilding project awaiting may never be completed.
Think very carefully then before doing something that will shake the foundation of faith.
Remember this from a nursery rhyme:
All the king's horses and all the king's men, couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
It doesn't matter what side of the hurt these people are on. You can really mess them up.
