A key sunset is coming

While winter has its grips on us, here is a warming thought.


The sun sets at 5:02 p.m. Thursday.

It will be the first time since early November the sun sets after 5 p.m. That is when we turned the clocks back.

It might be cold.

It might still be snowing.

And we are expecting another Arctic blast.

But for me, the sun setting after 5 p.m. is a sign spring is on its way.
