My parents were right. Life does not get easier.
The challenges we face are more complicated. Decisions now affect many rather than a few.
We should be wiser.
As we get older, we have more lessons to use in our navigation of the world.
It might not seem that way.
Take it from a 55-year-old man.
I got a chuckle when one of my daughters said she felt old because she was turning 26.
"Wait until your 55, That is old," I told her.
My 80-year-old mother tells me wait a few more years to see how my ship is navigating the Sea of Life.
