Typical line doesn't cut it

I overheard this line used today, "that is a typical man for you."


Men are just as guilty with using the typical line.

What does that mean?

To me, it means people are shallow, or they have been burned in a relationship.

Not everyone is bad. 

Get over it and get on living.
